- 8 1/2" x 11" white cardstock--Bazzill
- 8 1/2" x 11" Poppy cover weight cardstock--Yours Truly (6040041)
- Black string--May Arts (6037343)
- Gems--Me and My Big Ideas (6031877, 6031876)
- Gems--Mark Richards (6037729)
- Clear embossing powder (7387)
- Pink ink-- ColorBox (6026110)
- Graphite Black ink-- Brilliance (503546)
- Black Millennium pen--Zig (1272)
- Adhesive foam
Suggested tools:
- Sparkle clear Live it up stamp set--Hero Arts (6037638)
- 3/4" circle punch--EK Success (528431)
- Craft knife or QuickStik (optional)
- Trimmer
- Scor-Pal
- Scissors
- Clear acrylic block (to use with clear stamp)
- Heat tool
Instructions:
- Trim white cardstock to 7"x 5". Score and fold (folded side is the top of card).
- Stamp birthday hat onto orange cardstock using pink ink. Emboss with clear embossing powder and use scissors to cut out.
- Stamp "happy birthday" on card using black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
- Add 1" piece of black string to back of hat using adhesive foam.
- Add hat to card, left of happy birthday sentiment.
- Add gems as shown, using a craft knife or QuickStik to assist you, if necessary.
- Notch corners of card using circle punch.
- Draw two thin black lines around edge of card.
