How to Use the QuicKutz Squeeze

The QuicKutz Squeeze is a small, portable die-cutting machine that can be used as a hand tool or set up as a tabletop press, and uses 2” QuicKutz dies.

How it works:

  1. Place the tool in the tabletop cradle on a flat surface, or place the base handle in your hand.

  2. Choose die-cut shape or letter. For best results, ejection foam should be in place over the raised surface of the die.

  3. Insert die, smooth side up, into the tool—the smooth side of the die will latch on to the magnetic upper plate.

  4. Insert paper with the patterned or “right” side up (touching the foam). This is especially important when cutting letters—if you insert paper incorrectly, your letter will come out backwards! Just remember, the correct side of the paper should always be touching the foam.

  5. If using the tabletop cradle, press the handle straight down. If using the Squeeze as a hand-held tool, squeeze both handles together until they are fully closed, then release. (When using embossing dies, squeeze only until you feel resistance, then release.)

  6. Remove paper and pop out your image. Slide the die out by the easy grab tab if finished, or repeat steps 3-5 if making multiples.
